Former Sears to undergo $20M renovation

​​​​​HOUSTON – Momentum BMW will relocate to a former Sears department store at 9570 Southwest Fwy. following a $20 million renovation.

Turner Construction has been hired to convert the 186,000-sf facility to an auto sales center.

Construction will be carried out in several phases and include the building of a new showroom and sales gallery, service shop, service drive, parts department, and support spaces.​​​

Engineers from Walter P. Moore, Kimley Horn & Associates, and Syska Hennessy Group will advise on the project. Gensler designed the building.

Momentum BMW will begin moving in early 2020. 

Las Colinas getting 433-unit multifamily project

​​IRVING – Locally based JPI will build Jefferson Innova, a 433-unit community in the Las Colinas district.

Amenities will include a pool, business center, fitness center with a yoga studio, coffee bar, and two outdoor kitchens.

Humphreys & Partners is the project architect, and Glenn Engineering Corp. is the civil engineer.

CrossHarbor Capital Partners is serving as JPI's equity partner on the project.

The property will open in ​spring 2021. 

Sherman Residential picks up San Antonio multifamily

​​​SAN ANTONIO – Sherman Residential has acquired Wiregrass at Stone Oak, a 308-unit apartment complex in the Stone Oak neighborhood.

Built in 2014, the community at 20303 Stone Oak Pkwy.​ offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom units.

Amenities include a dog park, swimming pool, business center with conference room, fitness center, and clubhouse.

Institutional Property Advisors represented the seller, Epoch Residential, and procured the buyer.​
